The Terms and conditions outlined below apply to your purchase of wine from us (Nuevos Vinos de España Ltd on our website www.thespanishcellar.com) either online, telephone, or through the post. Purchasing wines from us binds you to these terms.
 
We reserve the right to revise or update these terms and conditions without notice.
We endeavour to provide the best service to our UK customers. We are based in England and only sell and deliver wine within the United Kingdom (excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man).

We strive for excellence and make every effort to ensure the information on this website is accurate; however at times the information may be out of date or incorrect. Additionally, please note that all our tasting notes are based on personal opinion which may or may not fit with your opinion.
All our prices listed on the website are in pounds sterling (£) and are inclusive of any excise duty and VAT unless otherwise stated.
Prices listed on our website are per bottle (75cl), unless stated otherwise..
Please note our wine prices do not include the cost of delivery. Delivery will be charged at our present delivery rates and we reserve the right to change our prices without notice. Please see our terms on delivery for further information.
Special offers are only redeemable on our website www.thespanishcellar.com
Our terms and conditions apply to our special offers and you agree to be bound by these when ordering from us.
Gift vouchers may only be redeemed at www.thespanishcellar.com
Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash
Multiple Gift Vouchers can be redeemed on a single purchase.
Gift Vouchers are redeemabe against all prodcuts on www.thespanishcellar.com including 'special offer' cases.
Anyone wishing to purchase wine from us must be 18 years or over. By placing an order you are confirming you are of legal age to purchase alcohol. We reserve the right to refuse an order.
We accept orders via our secure online shopping system, by telephone, or if you prefer you may send us your order using our online order form. As stated, your order will be based upon our prices and delivery charges in force when you submit the order.
Please note the set up of our secure online order system is for a half case of wine (6 bottles) and our minimum order is 12 bottles of wine per order. You can order two half cases of different wines to make up the required minimum order. This minimum order of 12 bottles of wine applies to all our methods of ordering.
An order cannot be processed unless a valid UK postcode is provided. We hold no responsibility or liability to you for any late delivery or non-delivery of wine if we find the postcode given was incorrect.
Once an order is submitted we will send you written confirmation via email detailing your order and reference number in case you need to contact us further about your order.
If a wine is unavailable when you place an order, we will contact you detailing its next availability.
The contract of sale between you and us becomes valid once the wine is dispatched.
We accept payment by cleared cheque and all major debit and credit cards.
All cards are debited in UK pounds sterling.
On receipt of your order your account will be debited.
Payment can be made online using our secure online shopping system or via the telephone. Alternatively, you may print off our online order form and send it in the post to: Nuevos Vinos de España, 31 Gladstone Street, Market Harborough, Leicestershire. LE16 9ET. Please use a recorded delivery service.
  Cost
Our standard delivery charge is £5.99 for quantities upto 24 bottles of wine/cava and locations on the United Kingdom mainland
Deliveries outside of the United Kingdom mainland will be charged at £25.00 upto 288 bottles.

  Cancellations
You may cancel your order up to 7 working days after the day the goods are received.
You must inform us of your wish to cancel your order in writing by letter or email (sales@thespanishcellar.com)
If you decide to cancel your order before it has been despatched, we will reimburse you in full within 30 days of the date you cancelled.
Should you decide to cancel after receipt of the wine, you will be asked to return the wine at your own cost using our courier LCB Home Delivery. We will refund the price of your order within 30 days after the date on which you cancelled. The refund will exclude any delivery charges included in your original purchase price.
If we do not receive the return goods within 30 days of the date on which you cancelled, we will take this, as acceptance of the order and no refund will be given.
  Returns
We hope you will be happy with your purchase; however, if for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt of your wine to arrange pick up by our designated courier – LCB Home Delivery
Return of goods will be treated like a cancellation.
You will be asked to return the wine at your own cost using our courier LCB Home Delivery. We will refund the price of your order within 30 days after the date on which you cancelled. The refund will exclude any delivery charges included in your original purchase price.
  Damaged Goods
On delivery of your wine please examine all goods before signing for your delivery.
If there are any breakages, or inaccuracy with your order please notify us by email within 24 hours, quoting your delivery note number, found in the top left hand corner of your invoice.
We will make every effort to provide the correct order to you as soon as possible and for the damaged good to be collected by our courier - LCB Home Delivery, at no cost to you.
In the unfortunate circumstance of receiving corked wine within your case, please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your order. Should this happen, we will either refund the whole case or offer a replacement once we have taken receipt of the remaining bottles, unopened and in their original packaging. Only in the case of spoiled wine will we refund delivery and collection charges. We will arrange for the wine to be collected by our courier LCB Home Delivery and your account will be credited accordingly.
We are not liable for wine that has deteriorated as a result of unsuitable storage after delivery.
This website is owned by Nuevos Vinos de España Ltd operating as TheSpanishCellar.com. All rights on our website and its contents are owned or licensed to us. Accesses to the contents of the site are for your private use only and cannot be used for any commercial or public use.
All contracts of sale are conducted in the English Language only.
All our terms and conditions and privacy statement regarding the sale of wine is governed and construed in all respects in accordance to English Law. The English Courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes.
